Pumpkins

Pumpkins have a low-calorie content, excellent nutritional values and many health properties. In Italy, they are cultivated mainly in the Northern regions, but they are consumed everywhere and used as basic ingredients in many different and tasty recipes. Despite their many shapes and types, all pumpkins have the same nutritional properties and health benefits.

Nutritional properties

This vegetable contains a lot of fibres, a good supply of Vitamin A and C, a decent measure of beta carotene and Omega3 (very useful to prevent and cure cardiovascular diseases) and minerals, including calcium, phosphorous, zinc and potassium.
Furthermore, pumpkins are rich in water and poor of fat/sugar, making it an ideal ingredient in low-calorie diets (15 kcal/100 g).
It is processed in our facility, at Via Einstein 31, Stanghella (PD) – Italy, where it is washed, brushed and packaged:

Sliced and packaged in trays with heat-shrinkable plastic film;

Packaged in crates with different recipes, Christmas themes and sealing wax;

Packaged on pallets based on the customer’s specific needs. We offer different types of carton sizes and colours;

Customized labelling upon request;

From September to October, Halloween pumpkin packaging in black net bag and cut-out.
