They are an essential source of Vitamin C and A, and also of Vitamin B. Vitamin C is important because it helps strengthen our immune system, thus preventing colds and cold-induced diseases. Furthermore, oranges contain a lot of bioflavonoids, which, along with Vitamin C, are essential for connective tissue collagen reconstitution. For this reason, they help strengthen bones and teeth, cartilage, tendons and ligaments.
